01 / A point of view

Great brands can
start anywhere.

I started Northkind to help ambitious businesses build a brand they can grow with.

Where a business starts should never limit how far its brand can go.

Written by Yatharth · Founder, Northkind

I started Northkind because I wanted businesses in Fatehabad, Hisar and Sirsa to have access to the quality of branding their ambitions deserve.

Being based in Fatehabad keeps me close to the businesses here — their customers, their context, and the details that matter.

My focus is to help turn that ambition into a clear identity, then carry it consistently into the places people encounter the business: a shopfront, a package, a phone screen.

The brand is the first thing in the room

The mark sits above the reception desk and repeats on the mat below. What I look for: a clear first impression, then small details that make it feel considered. Recognition starts before anyone says a word.

Different surfaces. The same personality.

The cup and gift packs share an orange and navy palette, botanical illustration and a distinctive mark. What I look for: enough consistency to belong together, with enough flexibility for each object to do its own job.

Make the everyday feel like an occasion.

A bakery box is also something you carry, share and give. This illustration makes that social moment part of the packaging. What I look for: a visual language that fits how people actually experience the business.

Make the choice easier.

The product name, grain illustration and information each have a place on the pack. What I look for: a clear reading order. A customer should be able to recognise the brand and understand the product without working for it.

One identity, from the room to the page.

The wall identity, brochure, notebook and cards share the same burgundy and gold vocabulary. What I look for: an idea that feels equally at home in a physical space and on a printed page. Every encounter should add to the same impression.

04 — The standardThe details I care about

What I look for in the work.

01

Clarity before decoration.

A business should be understood, not merely noticed. I start with what you sell and who has to understand it, and let the visual decisions follow from there.

02

Consistency in the details.

Every application should feel like the same brand. A label, a card, an invoice — the small surfaces are where identities usually come apart, so they get the same attention as the logo.

03

Built for the real world.

The identity should work on the surfaces people actually use: a sign read at a distance, a pack held in the hand, a page on a phone. Looking right on a slide is not the same as working.
